Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Controls Engineer to join our client in Glendale, KY. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Pay: $24 per hour, paid weekly

  • Schedule: Multiple schedules available

  • Location: Glendale, KY

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use MES Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation and follow up on automation projects and installations.

  • Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation issues. Lead 4D efforts during significant downtime events.

  • Update program backups for automation systems.

  • Program new installations of tooling and conveyor systems.

  • Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements.

  • Coordinate automation campaigns.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls.

  • Electrical background (electrician or technician).

  • Related experience in manufacturing or automation.

  • Familiarity with Variable Frequency Devices (VFDs), encoders, Servo, and network/Ethernet controls.

  • Ability to support any shift in a 7-day work pattern.

  • Flexibility to travel during the initial plant start-up phase.

  • Strong interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of related experience.

  • Experience with Mitsubishi PLC/HMI/VFD/SERVO/MOTION is an asset.

  • PLC/MBI, robotics programming experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment independently.

  • Ability to read and modify electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Strong understanding of conveyor system programming, networking, Ethernet, and remote IO.
