This individual will be responsible for maintaining machines and building repair, as well as problem resolutions and time management. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $24 to $25/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM + OT | 2nd Shift : 3:00 PM - Midnight + OT
Located in Lafayette, IN
Duties and Responsibilities
Setting up machines for various products,
Trouble-shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics,
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment,
Repair, rebuild and welding,
Lubrication, hand truck repair,
Building repair and maintenance
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
Other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
Mechanical background
Welding-Tig/Stick skills/experience
Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic)
Plumbing skills (water, air and hydraulic)
Ammonia Refrigeration knowledge
Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Strong team player
Communication skills: ability to communicate with a multitude of plant personnel as well as maintenance personnel
The ability to work at heights up to 25’ a ladder or man lift
Must be motivated and willing to learn new tasks
The ability to work weekends is necessary
