HIRING IMMEDIATELY: RECEIVING / INVENTORY CONTROL SUPERVISOR IN GREENFIELD, IN

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Receiving / Inventory Control Supervisor to join our client in Greenfield, IN. This individual will be responsible for maintaining receiving accuracy by auditing daily reports processing items received and correcting any errors. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $21/hour, paid weekly

  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

  • Located in Greenfield, IN

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Orient all staff through training employees on job responsibilities.

  • Schedule and assign workflow of receiving clerks.

  • Maintain receiving accuracy by auditing daily reports processing items received and correcting any errors.

  • Ensure correct and timely handling of products within the established policies and procedures.

  • Control inventory by coordinating counts with Inventory Control clerks and reconciling with the Warehouse Management System (Ramp).

  • Safeguard warehouse operations by following and monitoring security procedures and protocols, and identifying and correcting infractions.

  • Protect shipments by investigating the cause of damages and discrepancies in consignments.

  • Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair.

  • Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of products as needed.

  • Assists in loading and unloading trucks, when necessary.

  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.

  • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation and route to the proper record-keeping unit.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and oral. Bilingual skills are a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and WMS/ERP System functions.

  • Forklift experience a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail accuracy.

  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time well on deadlines.

  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to effectively adapt to change and excel in a stimulating, fast-paced environment.
