This individual will be responsible for partnering with QA and Operations management to oversee the entire production process, proactively addressing quality issues on the floor. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $19/hour
1st shift: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Located in Aurora, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections in line with GMP standards, ensuring that our products consistently meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements
Implement monitoring activities, including metal detector checks and quality checks on labels, lot codes, and net weights
Verify and calibrate scales and temperature controls across the plant, ensuring accurate documentation daily
Follow hold and release protocols for any nonconforming ingredients or finished goods that fail to meet our quality standards
Perform environmental swabbing, ATP, and allergen testing, and take corrective actions for any food safety or sanitation issues
Assist with nutritional label reviews to ensure compliance with FDA guidelines, verifying proper label placement on packages
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience in product inspections preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow safety precautions in a warehouse environment
Work in a collaborative team environment
Ability to have good written and verbal communication skills
