This individual will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines and also coordinates with the manager to schedule regular maintenance. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $21.50/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
7 am to 3:30 pm, 8 hour
Located in Allentown, PA
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs set-ups on production lines
Assist in identifying gaps in processes to help in the improvement of efficiencies. Assist mechanics with troubleshooting
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, also coordinates with manager to schedule regular maintenance
Effectively communicates between departments on the status of setups
Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary
Records and reports of damaged, worn, or broken parts
Installs replacement parts for machines
Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently
Prepares reports documenting work performed
Cleans organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills
Works well independently and with others
Good communication skills
Organized with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
Candidates should have at least 3 years of set-up/troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
Must be able to visually inspect machines
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
