Pay, Schedule, and Location:
Pay: $54,000 annually
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Location: Nazareth, PA
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including dock areas, aisles, and shipping offices
Schedule and oversee staff for 7-day workweeks to meet departmental needs
Lead daily start-up meetings to discuss volumes, expectations, and safety topics
Prepare for shift turnover meetings by reviewing inbound volumes, cross-dock statuses, and carryover work
Enforce safety policies and ensure completion of required training
Oversee proper receiving, storage, and shipping of products
Coordinate with yard staff and transportation teams for timely trailer movements and load completion
Implement new policies and procedures effectively and ensure staff compliance
Research customer complaints and collaborate on resolutions
Product Management:
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise
Address inventory issues with Inventory Control
Monitor and reduce in-house damage through awareness and training
Supervision:
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and implementing disciplinary actions as needed
Develop Lead Associates and team members to support career growth and maximize team effectiveness
Manage payroll processes by reviewing and updating timesheets
Assist in managing departmental performance metrics, including cost per case, fill rate, and injury rates
Performance Measurements:
Meet fill rate and on-time shipping/receiving targets
Achieve departmental and personal goals set with management
Maintain compliance with safety and productivity standards
Requirements and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Self-motivated with the ability to supervise and implement distribution programs
Basic computer and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge
Experience in warehouse or distribution center supervision
Familiarity with wholesale operations is a plus
