- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday–Friday)
No weekends required. High demand on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Line Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team in Waukegan, IL. This is a direct hire role with full benefits and competitive pay. You’ll play a key role in maintaining production line equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on packaging and production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and minor electrical issues
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and keep accurate maintenance records
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all maintenance areas
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with packaging machinery preferred
- Ability to work assigned shift and occasional overtime if needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be reliable and punctual
